React-Redux Project Summary

Out of all five projects from this program, this one was definitely the toughest one, so it felt rewarding to finish it the way I wanted to. While learning React, I loved the structure and the principles that they want developers to follow when coding with React. I like how it looks clean and organized. Rock-Paper-Scissors JS Project

Working on this project really made me grow as a developer. There were so many obstacles to overcome, but with preserverance, I was able to get through eventually. It was great to put everything I had learned throughout the Javascript module into one project. This project taught me just how powerful Javascript can be. By running a rails api, creating objects from the frontend, and being able to manipulate the DOM, you can definitely create something really special. Since this is my first Javascript project, I didn’t want my idea to be too complicated. I decided to make a Rock-Paper-Scissors game against the computer and create a leaderboard based on how many times you were able to win in a row.

Rails Portfolio Project

Creating my very first Ruby on Rails application has been an amazing experience for me. It was really fulfilling to integrate everything that I have learned to create an application that I thought of creating for a while. My application I created is called “Code Folio.” I wanted to create a social media application for Software Engineers, hence the name of the app. Some notable features of this app consists of login, registration, search bar, and a follow feature.
